Mechanical and Technological Testing

In our mechanical testing laboratory we offer you the following testing:

• mechanical testing: resistance, hardness, bending (shock);
• technological testing: bending, flattening, ring dilation, technological breaking;
• metallographic analysis; both macroscopic and microscopic;
• chemical analysis.

Testing purposes are:

• material quality control (primary materials used to manufacure other products, materials and final products or in different production stages);
• welding procedure homologation;
• welder authorization.

Our laboratory has a mechanical workshop for specimen sampling and processing in a confined and clean space

Our technical capabilities allow us to create tests on a high level of quality, according to the international standards.
The laboratory is equiped with:

•     Universal machine 400KN HECKERT EU40;
•     Universal machine 600KN WEW-600D;
•     Pendulum hammer JB-W300A;
•     Cooling machine DWY-60A for shock heated epruvetes(-60gr.C + 30gr.C);
•     Profilograph XT-50;
•     Universal machine for testing hardness;
•     HVS 10 statical hardness testing machine by Vickers method;
•     MET-U1A portable ultrasound hardness meter;
•     MDS metallurgical microscope;
•     FORCIPOL 1V polishing machine.
